“Amazing Game Concept However It Falls Flat”
About The Game
An action game where a couple races against time to recover stolen music, combining intense shootouts and rhythm-filled chases
Gameplay Loop
Music Drive: Chase The Beat has a pretty cool gameplay loop you choose a track which is in the form of a cassette tape, this is the track you will be driving too. You then play that mission the aim is to retrieve the tape and complete the mission without dying in turn you receive money.
You can use this money to unlock new cars, weapons and mixtapes to ride too. Cars range from beaten up sedans to 4×4’s. The guns range from handguns to bigger assault rifles including an AK.
Driving within the game feels smooth but its beyond difficult to dodge oncoming projectiles within the game making its really difficult the higher your heat level.
Unfortunately I was unable to test anything past the first mission on this game, I do not know if its just me being silly but I have put 6 hours into the first cassette or mission and the game still wont let me choose another cassette to play so I am physically unable to review this title beyond the first mission.

Music
Now I will say the one track we got to play within Music Drive: Chase The Beat was actually a really well composed piece of music, the other issue here is the mission is so short lived that you never really get to hear the entire song.

Our Thoughts
We really wanted to like Music Drive: Chase The Beat and it was one of the titles I was personally looking forward to however the game has left me a bit deflated as I believed it would be so much better.
What we did get to play was relatively enjoyable but when you play six hours of one mission without seeing the rest of the title its really hard to continue, I am also sorry for this review if cassette two is 8 hours into the game but I personally feel like this game needs some work put into it.
