Once upon a time there was a girl named Sophie and Sophie had a trusty companion named teddy, through some weird events that we won’t be discussing in this review Sophie is unable to see however teddy can, through the sight of teddy Sophie must navigate her way through the house she is captive in and escape.

Out of sight really grips you from the start with it’s story as a player you really want to know what’s happening within this house and why can teddy see? As you progress through the game you slowly start uncovering things and I have to say I was gripped for every minute of it.
The games puzzles have been crafted beautifully, players won’t just walk through a puzzle they have to put teddy somewhere so he can see the room to allow Sophie to solve the puzzle, sometimes this involves pulling levers to move teddy around the room so you can see different angles of it.

The out of Sights story narrative has been beautifully crafted and throughout the entire game hearing Sophie’s interactions with teddy is something of beauty. However this isn’t the only thing that makes this story stand out but the mysteries with the story itself.
There are tons of moments within the game where the atmospheric horror brings a weird chill to you, it’s an eerie kind of horror not a jumpy kind of horror and to be honest with you while I love being jump scared this kind of horror works so well for this game, combine this with the art direction and lighting and you really have a beautiful thing here.

I encountered one bug during my entire play through of the game and that was when an NPC got stuck on the door while trying to exit the room, it really didn’t bother me but it did make me laugh a bit as the guy locked the door before exiting the room so in turn he locked himself in the room with me. Other than this one bug or hick up there was nothing to even mention.
Overall I strongly recommend you grab this game and play through it even if horrors ain’t your thing hell even if puzzle games ain’t your thing grab it for the story alone.

Really interesting Game. I need to play it
