About The Game

A happy aquarium that lives at the bottom of your screen! Tiny Aquarium is a social idle simulator that keeps growing, even when offline. Hatch, sell fish, decorate, go fishin’, and visit your friends’ aquariums with bite-sized daily sessions.

Gameplay Loop

Tiny Aquarium is all about building an aquarium the way you want it to be built. You start off by cleaning your tank and then you get given your first egg. Once the egg has hatched and you have fed the fish you can then unlock the fishing minigame and the shop alike, within the fishing minigame your aim is to catch fish and decide weather you are going to keep the fish or put it back. Keeping a fish will automatically transfer it to your aquarium.

Through gameplay you earn money to spend within the shop on other fish and decorations, whilst we where reviewing the game there was a limited time even ongoing, during the event you earn points and then spend said points on the limited time fish and decorations.

if you are looking for more than this unfortunately this seems like the majority, buy fish, keep fish, fish fish, and socialise we will get to that.

Socialisation

Once you have your little aquarium built your going to want to add some fish to it, well this is where the socialisation aspect of the game comes into play. Clicking on the fishing minigame will take you out on your own boat where others can join your lobby. Here you can talk, relax and fish for decorations and fish, once your done you head back to your fish tank to place all your new found goodies in the fish tank.

Our Thoughts

If you want a chill relaxing game with a hint of socialisation thrown in then this game is for you, I for one am not a very chill game person but I can see the appeal not everyone wants to be running around like a lunatic on a video game after a long day at work some just want to chill out.

Fish seem interesting within the game and they interact with the surroundings you put them in and personally I like that I did think the Fishing Minigame was a little lacking and the reeling is like Stardew which i really didn’t like.
