Grandma, NO! Review

I’m going to start by saying this game brought back so many nostalgic feelings, feelings of being a kid again sitting around the old console system with tom and jerry playing couch co-op with the brothers, ok that’s enough reminiscent of the good old days.

Grandma, No! It is absolute carnage the game starts out with your daughter dropping off the grandkids because they are off on some kinda holiday and that’s where the normal stops. Grandma is a huge walking hazard and everything she does or touches just seems to go wrong.

The first area I chose within the game is what I will be covering here as to limit any spoilers, the garden. Now you can imagine what the garden looks like due to my mention of the old tom and jerry games.

Upon entering the hazardous wasteland that Grandma calls a garden your quick to realise there is stuff everywhere and the game starts giving you objectives to do however I see these as more of a tutorial of each area as once these objectives are complete there are still areas to explore and complete.

Now going through these objectives can be absolutely crazy after all grandma is a wobbly mess and doing simple tasks like lighting a BBQ could be explosive, a simple lawn trim might lead to other complications within the garden.

Playing around with different objects throughout the house had me laughing too just because of how ridiculous things are so hats off to the developers on this one.

The game works as intended and I didn’t encounter any issues while I was reviewing the title which is actually nice to see in today’s standards.
