About The Game
Warhammer 40000: Speed Freeks is a fast paced adrenaline fuelled combat racer. You play as the Orcs and drive around in some of their most ferocious vehicles equipped with powerful weapons and abilities. Engage in a full-throttle battle to the death. Speed Freeks is a fresh, Ork-y take on vehicle combat that you’ve never seen before. WAAAGH!
Gameplay Loop
While playing Warhammer 40000 Speed Freeks you will be racing around a field shooting other people in a battle to the death, depending on the server you join or you might make a server of your own the mission will change, some of these missions include Bomb, TDM, Checkpoint races and more. Even though the mission changes the core mechanics stay the same here kill the enemy team and get the objective complete in order to win your team that victory. In bomb you will need to grab the bomb and take it to the enemy base from what I could see during all the carnage during bomb is that the aim here is to destroy the enemies walking base and vice versa, while team death match is an all out war there, during our play session within a TDM match there was a huge dogpile in the centre of the map which was mayhem but the fun kind.
Winning games will net you XP for your career level but also you will net experiance for the current Waraghh path you have activated (more on this later).

The Vehicles
Now I wanted touch upon the vehicles I for one thought the skill system and difference between each vehicle made the same pretty interesting as having to many of one on your team might hinder you a little so there is a little strategy at play here too.
Each vehicle you choose will have a different weapon attached to it, the smaller cars having machine guns or mini guns while the bigger vehicles like tanks will have rockets and multi cannons. You would have thought that this would make the game unfair but it doesn’t because while the heavier vehicles has heavy weaponry they also move slower than the smaller vehicles, which means, the smaller vehicles can manoeuvre around them a lot easier.
This isn’t the only good thing about the vehicles though, as aforementioned the Warghh path which is Warhammer 40000: Speed Freeks battle pass if you will. Now this Warghh path is free and there isn’t just one there are two of them you can progress through, each path will unlock cosmetics for your cars allowing you to customise the car to your personal preference. The customisations include colour of the car, wheel tread, wheel alloys, weapons on the vehicle and badges for the vehicle too. These paths make for some great replayablity for the game and customisation option for the players playing the game.

Our Thoughts
Now I personally do not normally like racing style game but I have played a good few games of Warhammer 40000: Speed Freeks and I will be playing more its fun, each match doesn’t drag out, its fast paced all out carnage and I can truly say its been a blast to play this. I love the fact that the developers have decided to go with a free pass option so everyone can upgrade there vehicles and no one feels excluded because they didn’t open there wallet and while I understand there may be a paid one in the future the fact they have given the player two passes is good enough in my books.
During My time playing the game I didn’t experiance any issues or bugs that could break a players enjoyment with the game. I reviewed this game on a laptop with an I5 12400H and a RTX 3060 4GB the laptop also has 16gb of DDR5 ram and I was getting above 60 fps the whole time.
