Split Fiction is a masterclass in video game development and a true co-op experience that everyone should play
Split Fiction is about Mio Hudson and Zoe Foster who are both authors that want to get a publishing deal, however things take a slight turn and they end in traveling through their own stories in an attempt to get back to the real world.
The character development in the game is absolutely flawless, you see Zoe grow as a person though the campaign and Mio who starts out very sheltered come out of her shell, both characters seem distant with each other at first but slowly get more of a bond with each other, the banter between both characters through out the whole games is worth the play alone.
The level design within Split Fiction is magical you will find yourself exploring cyberpunk cities, ruins, jungles and more each tailored to perfection.
Coop play and progression is deeply engrained within the game, you cannot progress to the next piece without your partner in crime, you will need to pull levers and interact with other items and objects to get your friend through a section and vice versa, even the boss fights are made with coop in mind.
