Dawn of Ages is a strategy game that boasts authentic medieval warfare, the game started out on android and IOS and now it’s available on pc and the best bit is that it’s free.
The game has a lengthy campaign path that sees you battle it out against enemies of different power levels each win nets you different armour, weapons, cards and materials to better your base and troops.
At camp you will be able to build your camp from lumber yards, barracks, farms and tons more, upgrade different stations to produce more recourse for the base allowing you to grow stronger so you can proceed through the campaign.
The game also has a big PVP scene from normal PvP, ranked PvP, PvP leaderboards and so much more. Players can also access daily missions and tasks to gain more recourse for upgrade to their team.
What I really liked about this game was that all your tactical planning is done pre battle, you will place your troops in formations of your choosing, give each troop armour and weapons, choose cards etc, but the second you press the fight button it’s all out of your hands that’s where you get to see your tactical planning really play out. This take on the strategy genre was pretty cool and I surprisingly enjoyed my time with the game.
